April - May News

What Do We Need?
As you know, we are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization supported almost 100% by your membership fees and donations. We have done amazing things since we started in 2005-2006, and we have exciting ideas and plans for the future. The only way we can continue to offer our exhibits, classes and outreach is through your support and gifts.

Watch for more information soon on how you can help, both monetarily and through your gift of time.

Election News
Nominations for the Mint Hill Arts Executive Committee for the 2011-2012 year are in, and the ballot has been prepared. Officers will be elected at the MHA monthly meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.  At this time nominations from the floor will be accepted and added to the ballot as write-ins.

Voting will then take place by the members who are in attendance at this meeting. All votes will be checked for eligibility and then counted by the committee, and the results will be announced by the chair at the end of the meeting.

You will find the ballot here.  Please print the ballot, review the nominees on the slate of officers and fill out your ballot.  If you wish to nominate someone from the floor at the meeting, check with the person to be sure they agree to serve if elected.  Or, if you cannot be present at the monthly meeting on May 24, you may place your ballot in an envelope, seal it and mark it "Absentee Vote" and either ask someone to deliver it to MHA or mail it in to the address to the right of this column.  Thank you for participating in this very important election!
